Refund and Cancellation Policy

The AYS Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Atma Yoga Shala, we strive to ensure that every student has a transformative experience. However, we understand that circumstances may change. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy is designed to be fair to both our students and our dedicated teaching faculty.

1. Cancellation Policy

Live Classes (Online or In-Studio)

  • Cancellations: If you are unable to attend a scheduled group or private class, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class start time will be considered a "Late Cancel" and will not be eligible for a refund or credit.
  • No-Shows: If you miss a class without prior notice, the class credit will be deducted from your package.

Workshops and 21-Day Programs

For specialized programs, such as our Natural Lifestyle program or retreats, cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the start date to receive a refund (minus a small processing fee).

2. Refund Policy

Recorded Video Courses

  • Due to the immediate, digital nature of our recorded video courses, all sales are final.
  • Once access to the digital library or course content has been granted, we cannot offer refunds, as the intellectual property has been delivered.

Teacher Training Programs (RYT 200/300)

  • Application Fees/Deposits: Deposits paid to secure your spot in our Vinyasa Krama teacher training programs are non-refundable.
  • Tuition Refunds: If you withdraw from a Teacher Training program 30 days before it begins, you may be eligible for a partial refund of the tuition fee. No refunds are provided once the training has commenced.

3. Refund Processing & Timelines

Due to the limited availability of slots and the operational planning required for our programs (including our 200-Hour Residential Yoga Teacher Training, membership plans, and specialized classes), all registrations, signups, and purchases are strictly non-refundable and non-cancellable. Once a payment is completed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Duplicate or Erroneous Transactions: In the rare event of a technical glitch where a user is accidentally charged twice for a single transaction, the duplicate payment will be verified. Once verified, the erroneous amount will be processed and credited back to the customer’s original bank account/payment method within 5-7 working days.
