FAQs

This program is designed for experienced yoga practitioners and teachers who wish to study yoga in a classical, breath-centered, and lineage-based manner. It is particularly suitable for certified yoga teachers, long-term practitioners, and serious students who want depth in sequencing, pranayama, and meditative practices as taught in the Krishnamacharya tradition.
This is an advanced-level training and is not intended for absolute beginners. Participants should already have a consistent personal practice and basic familiarity with classical yoga principles. However, prior exposure to Vinyasa Krama specifically is not mandatory, as the methodology is taught progressively and systematically.
Yes. Participants who complete the full 100 hours of training will receive a Certificate of Completion from Atma Yoga Shala. This program is meant for continuing education and lineage-based study, rather than a general introductory teacher certification.
All sessions will be recorded and shared with registered participants. While live attendance is strongly encouraged—especially for practice sessions—recordings allow participants to review, revise, and catch up when necessary, supporting deeper integration of the material.
The Vinyasa Krama system emphasizes intelligent sequencing, breath coordination, and sustainability, rather than performance or intensity. Practices are structured to be methodical and adaptable, making them suitable for experienced practitioners across age groups when approached with awareness and respect for individual capacity.
Unlike programs where philosophy is taught separately, this training integrates textual study directly with practice. The evening sessions on Yoga Sutra and Taittriya Upanishad and Mandukya Upanishad illuminate the philosophical foundations of asana, pranayama, meditation, and lifestyle, allowing participants to clearly understand how practice arises from scripture and tradition.
Accommodation is not provided at the shala, however for offline registered participants requiring accommodation, recommendations will be provided, the course fee doesn’t include logistics, food and accommodation.
